Purpose of the Service

The Service works in partnership with clusters, schools, partner agencies, minority communities, children, young people, parents and carers in order to improve access to education for, and raise achievement of, children and young people from Ethnic Minorities.

'Kushti Atchin Tan' (A Good Stopping Place) is a new KS3 cross curricular pack, DVD and CD of teaching materials on Romani Gypsy heritage, culture and language, available free to Kent secondary schools.

The pack is particularly suitable for those schools developing project based learning or using the competency curriculum.  For a copy of the pack and information on support, please contact your Adviser for Refugee and Traveller Achievement.
