 Background -

In January 2008 the Kent Children’s Trust (KCT) established an Executive Group as part of the KCT substructure. The role of the KCT Executive Group is to:

  • Direct the agenda and planning for the Kent Children's Trust Board
  • Manage reporting arrangements between the KCT Board, KCT Sub-Groups and the Local Children's Services Partnerships (LCSPs)
  • Provide decision-making in emergencies between KCT Board meetings
  • Ensure follow up on decisions made at KCT Board meetings

As from October 2009 the KCT Executive Group is chaired by Rosalind Turner, Director of Children's Services and vice-chaired by Ann Sutton, CEO of Eastern and Coastal Kent PCT.   The membership includes representatives from:

  • KCC Children, Families and Education Directorate
  • Kent Police
  • Children’s Health (PCTs)
  • KCC Communities Directorate
  • District Councils
  • Voluntary and Community Sector
