Step One - E-learning Package
This package consists of the 5 individual courses listed below. It is available to anyone wishing to refresh their understanding in these areas or gain introductory level information.  Please note completion of courses 1-4 is mandatory for anyone who has not previously attended CAF training and who wishes to attend the Common Assessment Practice Workshop at step two.

  2. Data Protection
  3. Common Assessment Framework (CAF) introduction
  4. Lead Professional
  5. Managing Difficult Relationships and Conflict

Step Two – CAF Practice Workshop (one day)
Step Two is a one-day classroom based workshop which focuses on the practical elements of the Common Assessment Framework. Delegates should complete the relevant e-learning courses at step one prior to attending.  These workshops are run on a district basis; please apply for the workshop within the district you work.

Please note that only refreshments will be provided on our courses and NOT lunches.  Please bring your own lunch.

Please note: dates will be available on CPD on-line very shortly, for now please express an interest in attending by booking yourself a place on the course for your district. We will contact you once dates are confirmed. In the meantime please ensure you undertake the e-learning at Step One above. 

Step Three – Skills Development Workshop
We are currently reviewing our skills workshops and aim to create a one-day event based on the skills needed when working in a team around the family that covers some of the areas you have been asking for, including:

·         Communication
·         Working with practitioners from different agencies
·         Working with children and families
 
We will update this information once the course is available on CPD on-line.
