How the Healthy Schools Programme meets the five national outcomes of Every Child Matters

Schools need to show evidence for Ofsted demonstrating how they contribute to the five national outcomes for children described in Every Child Matters and The Children Act (2004). Gaining Healthy School status provides substantial rigorous evidence for many of the individual aims within the five outcomes. Use links from the five outcomes to find out how Healthy Schools contribute to each.
  1. Being healthy
  2. Staying safe
  3. Enjoying and achieving
  4. Making a positive contribution
