| | Health Needs Education Service Health Needs Education is an education service provision run by Kent Local Authority for children who are unable to attend their home school because of illness. Provision may include education at home (home tuition), education at a base or satellite or in hospital depending on the illness or medical needs of the child. |

If you would like to consider the possibility of becoming a home tutor for pupils too unwell to leave their homes we would be interested to hear from you.
Pupils can be at home because of mental or physical health reasons and we need tutors who can help them regain their confidence and get back to school.
To apply please complete the
application form and send it to the head teacher of the area in which you live.
For a discussion about this type of work please ring the head teacher of your area who may be able to put you in touch with a colleague who is already carrying out this valuable work in pupil’s homes.
