There are positive indications that drug use amongst young people is in decline. The latest figures from the National Drug Treatment Agency Services and the Smoking, Drinking and Drug Use by Young People in England 2009 survey, are something which all professionals, teachers and schools should be celebrating. However, alcohol and tobacco use by young people remains a concern.
The Kent Schools Drugs Education Advisers (SDEAs) are here to support and answer any questions, concerns and issues you may have about drugs.
'Drugs' refers to ALL SUBSTANCES including MEDICINES, VOLATILE SUBSTANCES, ALCOHOL, TOBACCO, LEGAL HIGHS AND ALL ILLEGAL DRUGS
