Preventative Services
Preventative Services provide early intervention and family support services, including:
- Support for vulnerable children and families referred through the CAF process or via Children’s social Services step-downs from Child in Need.
- Children Centres’ County Involvement Workers - support families with U5s, antenatal services and young parents.
- Family Liaison Officers - support vulnerable families with school age children on a wide range of issues identified by CAF.
- Emotional Wellbeing Family Support Workers (SSKY Team) - support children with emotional and mental health issues.
- Early Intervention Co-ordinator – supports the CAF process, liaises with the County Duty Team and local Children’s Services and provides CAF training for partners.
