Bullying in Kent schools

Kent County Council and its partners are keen to give Kent schools and professionals working with children and families every support in dealing with bullying issues.

These pages offer model policies, guidance and other important information to help you do your job.

 Preventing and reducing bullying incidents

Kent County Council sets out key activities to support schools and setting in its Anti-bullying Strategy and is working with partners who are involved in the delivery of Children's Services through the implementation of the KSCB Anti-bullying Policy.

The 2010 Safe at School Survey is now open for online completion. Last year over 8,400 children and young people across Kent took part in the survey, which is free to complete for all children, young people and parents and carers across Kent.

There are separate surveys for primary, secondary children, and parents and carers which can be completed online and an infant survey which can be downloaded, completed and returned via email to
samantha.sheppard@kent.gov.uk . Should you have any questions about the survey, or the Anti-Bullying Accreditation Scheme please contact Kent Safe Schools on 01227 284410.
