Admissions & Transport
About the Admissions Team

The Kent Admissions Team are active in supporting schools and parents alike through all forms of the admissions process, whether it be the initial admission of reception age children, the integration of children who have moved to Kent, or the transfer of children at age 11 from primary to secondary school. The Transport Team are responsible for assessing the eligibility of children for free home to school transport.

The Admissions and Transport Team work closely with other Kent County Council professionals such as LACAs, EWOs and AEN Officers to make sure that every child is offered a school place suitable to their age, ability and needs. We also liaise with neighbouring authorities.
