The new device created by the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) project
opens like a book and has a new price of $75. It's not aimed to replace the original laptop created by the project, but even that has moved on with the developers of the linux based operating system going their own way and a new XP version available. OLPC founder Nicholas Negroponte gave a glimpse of the "book
like" device at an unveiling event at the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology last month. The first XO2 machines should be ready to deliver to children in 2010.
