The course will look at the importance of information literacy and the role of the school library in raising attainment, with particular reference to using the School Library Association's new Information Skills Toolkit. (Copies will be avialable for sale at £12 on the day).

For Staff working in a school LRC who find it a challenge to get teachers to use their services effectively and who need to encourage them to do so.
This course aims to understand what motivates teachers to use the LRC and to offer practical solutions to help raise the level of effective use by teaching staff.
