Option One Queenborough Primary School

A one hour visit from a librarian to assess the school's library needs, including pre and post OFSTED advice. A written report will be sent following the visit. We can also help you make use of the DCSF Self-evaluation toolkit

A librarian will phone you and then visit your school and work with the person responsible for your library for three hours. The librarian will assess and prioritise your library's needs and offer assistance with a selection of the following:

  • Guidance in formulating an action plan and library policy Wentworth Primary School
  • Training and assistance in editing the library stock
  • Training and assistance in classifying the stock
  • Training in repairing, covering and labelling
    books
  • Advice on selection and promotion of stock
    and resources for the school library
  • A follow up visit as appropriate to your school

Option Three

Homewod School LibraryFurther work can be booked in blocks of half or whole days. We will tailor our visit to suit your school's requirements, providing training and advice as detailed in Option Two.

Option Four

Book buying. Following one of our visits, if your school would prefer not to send a member of staff to a book supplier, a member of our teamis able to select stock on your behalf.

Option Five

Long Mead Primary SchoolLibrary Refresher. Designed for schools that have purchased one of our packages within the last two years, the library refresher offers an opportunity to re-evaluate your library. We will undertake a general "health check" to include stock editing, classifying and general advice to ensure that your library continues to benefit from our up to date professional expertise.
