School Governance:
Services for school governors in Kent Unit is provided by both the School Governance Unit and the Governor Training Unit, each working closely with Local Education Officers (LEOs), School Improvement Partners (SIPS) and advisers to raise standards and foster effective governance.
Support and advice is provided by the School Governance Unit as a free entitlement to all schools. The unit is part of the Operations Division of the Children, Families, Health & Education Directorate.
