Annual Performance Assessment

The Annual Performance Assessment (APA) process is undertaken by the new Ofsted-led inspectorate for Children’s Services and formally assesses the contribution Kent County Council makes to improving outcomes for Children and Young People.  This year's APA results were released on 17th December, with Kent scoring 3 (good) for the overall effectiveness of children's services. Kent also scored 3 (good) for all 5 ECM outcomes, with a maximum 4 (outstanding/excellent) for capacity to improve, including service management.
