
Clerking Service
The Kent Clerking Service will provide your governing body with expert and professional clerking support to contribute to the effectiveness of the governing body.
KCC Governing Body Clerks will be fully trained and supported to inform your governing body in all procedures and administration affecting the work of the governing body.
- Clerks will deliver a full service to support governors and governing bodies to fulfil their statutory role in promoting high standards and educational achievement.
- The clerk fulfilling the role of information manager will assist governors to access information, hold more efficient meetings and thereby promote effective governance.
- Clerks will be briefed, trained and informed to help guide the governing body in their stategic role, providing advice and support, accurate information, guidance on the procedure, regulations and best practice.
